Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The quoting tool needs gender, birth date, general health status, tobacco use, your desired coverage amount, and the term you're considering. Those six details are sufficient to show carrier rates. Your name, address and detailed health history are collected only if you proceed to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The prices shown are what each carrier quotes for the health class you indicated. The carrier's underwriting process may confirm, improve, or change that class, which affects the final premium. Nothing published here amounts to an insurance offer or a rate commitment.

What happens when I click Apply?

You provide your name, and we generate an application from the quote you've chosen, which then moves to the carriers' secure platform. The process allows stopping and resuming, and you sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed agency (License 0B75129), guides the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

That depends on the carrier, your coverage amount, and your answers. Many carriers now have accelerated paths requiring no exam for eligible applicants; each quote on this site tells you whether an exam is needed, possible, or not required.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term that covers the span when others would suffer if you weren't here: the years of a mortgage, child-rearing, a business obligation. Longer periods cost more monthly but lock the rate longer. Our tool compares 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year terms side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quoting tool doesn't request personal contact information, we don't sell or share user data, and our measurement system has no cookies. Review the privacy page for all the specifics on collection and third-party access.
